Meet Kurt Petric: Owner & GENeral Contractor

Kurt Petric is the Owner and General Contractor at Rado Construction Management. Growing up around the construction industry, he always knew he wanted to own a construction company and provide top notch service. After starting his first home services business at the age of fourteen. He would go on to attend Roger Williams University and earn a Construction Management degree. Since then Kurt has obtained wide-ranging experience, from building New York City skyscrapers to small home remodels, and everything in between.

Kurt spent years working for some of the biggest names in construction in roles including Estimator, Project Engineer, Project Manager, and now Owner and General Contractor.

Kurt started Rado Construction Management with the goal of making the building process transparent, collaborative, and stress-free for homeowners. His goal has always been to put the owners interests first, and transform our local construction industry with the superior service and craftsmanship.

To Kurt, being a general contractor isn’t just about managing a job site: it’s about listening, problem-solving, and ensuring that every detail reflects the customer’s vision.

  • Rado Construction Management was named as an homage to my grandfather Rado Petric. After escaping communism, he immigrated to the United States in 1955 in pursuit of the American Dream. Upon coming to the United States he quickly made a career, working 100 hour weeks as a painter to provide a better life for his family. His number one goal was that future generations of Petrics would have a better life than he did.

    Rado Construction Management is the culmination of those dreams. A full service construction management firm, dedicated to premium service to help build your dreams, while I carry out his.

  • I earned a Construction Management degree in college and worked in various industry roles before taking a project management job locally in South West Florida. Upon taking that role, I saw a hole in the market. There was a clear demand for an efficient, well run, high-end construction firm. But there were very few contractors able to meet expectations. So we started Rado Construction Management to match the high demand with a quality supplier.

  • Our reputation is everything. One of my favorite quotes is by Warren Buffett, “Lose money for the firm and I will be understanding. Lose a shred of reputation for the firm and I will be ruthless”.

    At Rado Construction Management, we will always go the extra mile to ensure our customers are happy - even if it means losing money and time.

    My other favorite saying is “Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance”. At Rado CM we dedicate lots of time to project preparation. We take the time to put together site plans that will optimize site efficiency. We review plans to catch mistakes before construction starts to minimize costs and save time. We collaborate with a wide range of engineers and designers to craft plans with intricate details, eliminating errors. We employ many other practices to successfully and efficiently manage your project.
